It's Kind of a Funny Story (part three)

After Craig's first day, he had to start with the daily routines. Blood pressure in the morning, pills, breakfast, freetime, lunch, activities, smoke hour, visitor hour, dinner, pills, then sleep. All he needed to do was finish 5 days then if he was better he was allowed to be released. Craig had called Nia and then Nia told Aaron where Craig was. He was not happy Nia had told him but, because Craig told Aaron, Nia was taking pills for depression too, they got into a fight and it didnt come out good. Nia came to visit after her and Aaron broke up and tried to have sex with Craig. They got walked into then Craig told her, he didnt want anything to do with her. He had someone else in mind, meaning Noelle. He told Noelle how he felt and she had liked him back. They had eventually hooked up and started a relationship but on the down low. In art class Craig didnt know what to draw, then Noelle gave him the idea of something from him childhood. So he drew maps, then someone asked if it was a brain. That gave Craig the idea to draw an outline of a head around it. Craig's paintings became something good for him. It made him gwt better and everyone loved them. The paintings are waht completed the process to be cured for him. They had calmed him and gave him something that he loves to do. After five days Craig was released and he was cured. He realized that the work had mant options for him and nothing can hold him back.

It's Kind of a Funny Story (part two)

After taking Zoloft, weeks later he feels like he is cured and doesnt need to take it anymore. He doesn't tell anyone that he stopped. Not even a few days later his symptoms started to come back. Everything was making him depressed. The fact he could never have Nia, or be a 100 average student like Aaron but a 93 average student. He was never good enough in his own eyes. He hated himself. Craig was getting pretty bad and started to feel like he wanted to kill himself. He called Nia one night and told her how he felt and that he was depressed, and so was Nia. That night Craig was going to kill himself but, called Suicide Hotline and they told him to go to the hospital. So he walked down the street and signed himself in. They imediatley took him and placed him in the adult mental ward. Thats where he was kept until his parents came to sign papers for permission to be in there. Once all the paper work was done, he was introduced to him egyption roomate, Muqtada that never leaves his room because he believes gravity will take him. Then he met Johnny and Bobby the duo in drugs, and Jen/Charles who is a transexual thats sexually addicted. Then, he met a girl thats quiet but he like her, she cut her face with sissors because people wanted to much out of her and her beauty. Her name was Noelle.

It's Kind of a Funny Story (part one)

The beginning of this book is about the introduction of the life of Craig Gilner. It tells what he's all about. He all introduces most of his friends, family, and it gives you the gesture of his personality. At first Craig is a normal teenager, but he had a goal to get accepted into Manhattan's Executive Pre-Professional High School. Getting accepted into that school meant you were the best of the best and you were promised a future. After studying months for the entree test, Craig had passed and was accepted. When he first started he had made a friend named Aaron. Aaron was a good friend to Craig, but smoked pot and had parties, but he was an excellent student, better than Craig. Craig had a crush on Aarons girlfriend Nia but, obviously couldnt do anything about it and he started to feel like he wasn't good enough. He always compared himself to Aaron and that started to bring him down fast, in a bad way. He never slept or ate, and when he did he threw it up. Craig started to see a theorapist, Dr. Minerva, twice a week. To find out soon enough, he had a case of depression and was perscribed to take zoloft.
